Getting The Best Picture

To better understand the make up of your entrance way and if a Dôr device will mount correctly, please see the image below to take the best picture possible.

Don't worry though! If you are still unsure, take the best picture you can, and we will get in touch and arrange a site visit.

Multi-door Spaces

To provide an accurate count, sensors will need to be placed on 100% of entrances and exits. If you have more than one entrance way you would like to upload a picture of, feel free to e-mail or What's App

All pictures that we recieve will be entered into a contest, with a prize-draw at the end of the year... Just kidding!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Dôr sensors are designed to be mounted above most doorways and entrance ways, on the internal side of the building.  The sensor is not designed to be outside.

  • The sensor is and indoor device and is installed on the top side of a door frame. The sensor will work on door frames no larger that 12ft (3.6m) high and 8ft (2.4m) wide.

For a more complete guide, please see our Door Installation Guide. Alternatively, contact Clear View through any medium on the contact page for any sensor mounting queries.

  • In short- yes! Our sensor works fine above sliding doors, single or double. If your sliding doors already have a sensor on the center of its frame, a Dôr sensor can be placed to the side of the original sensor and still work perfectly.

  • Yes. While the doors are identical, the surrounding area above the the doorframe may be be different and we would need a picture to confirm, as this is where we might mount the sensor.

  • The sensor uses thermal-sensor fusion in order to classify the foot traffic in your location. This thermal-imaging technology is paired with machine-learning algorithms that optimize the sensor for retail conditions.

We train our algorithms in a vast array of different operating conditions so that accuracy is consistent across your deployments.

Classification of the number of people, direction of travel, and ignoring other items like shopping carts is all processed on the sensor in real-time.

  • Under normal operating conditions the sensor counts individuals over 4 feet high. This should rule out any children, pets or trolleys that are under this height.
